It lives in the world
A companion inside the game rather than a chat box beside it. It is in the world with you, which is the entire point.
How I built it
The decisions behind it
This is the clearest demonstration on the site that useful AI does not have to mean somebody else's server. A kid can have an AI companion with no account, no card, and no data leaving the house, and the parent does not have to take anything on trust.
Mods also carry limits worth being upfront about. Minecraft's rules restrict how mods can be monetised, so this is reputation and reach rather than revenue.
